The Farmhouse

Instead of going into the Matobo NP, we decided to spend our time at The Farmhouse, where we had a great spot to camp with fantastic views over the many boulders, but also some animals we could spot on our hikes.

There was a nice walk over the monolith we were camping on, to get to the perfect sunset view. Afterwards the fire was lit and our braai equipment was put to use.

The next day, we went to explore the farm, where giraffes, wildebeest, warthogs, zebras, impalas and many more live. Marked routes lead between and over the big monoliths, which dominate this landscape.

We had such a great time at The Farmhouse! Sadly we had to leave the next day, to drive back to Harare, but on the way we visited the Railway Museum in Bulawayo – more next!
