The Debengeni Waterfall hike

From the Zwakala Brewery, we drove over the Magoebaskloof, stopping at the Farmstall Café for a lovely breakfast. We are really enjoying the good food in this country.

Further down the mountains, we took the turnoff for the Debengeni Waterfall. We paid 45.- Rand pp entrance fee and went first to the fall, which most of the people visit, bringing a hamper and enjoying the river and its green surroundings.

We took the small hiking path up the river, which led us to many smaller waterfalls and pools, which you could use for a swim. At the main fall, swimming is not allowed anymore.

We are getting closer to the Kurger National Park now, where we reserved 4 nights at 4 different campsites, which was not easy, as most of the campsites were already fully booked. More soon!
