Going north along the coast, we stopped at Asilah, a nice coastal town, for a breakfast at the sea (Café Daya) and took a walk through the Medina.

Further north lies a cave which felt a little bit like a rip-off. Foreigners pay Euro 8,- to walk into this cave, which is partly natural, partly man-made. Mythology has it, that the Greek god Heracles stayed and slept in this cave before doing his 11th labour, which was to get golden apples from the Hesperides Garden, which are said to have been at nearby Lixus.

We spent the night at Cape Spartel, which is a favourite location for excursion for the locals of the city of Tanger. Many cafés and restaurants await their customers there. But it is also frequented by wild boar, which get fed or find enough leftovers to endure the humans.

The next day, we drove past Tanger, another nice looking city which we will keep for our next visit. We were heading to Tanger Med to take the ferry back to Spain.

Thanks to Morocco and its lovely people for the great time we had in this country. It is clear, that we will come again!!
