From the Brandberg, we made our way past Uis to the very well known Spitzkoppe. We met Richard there, a professional climbing guide, who will do some rock climbing with the kids. We will watch them with a cold drink in one hand.

The Spitzkoppe has a beautiful campsite spread around this giant mountain, organised by the local community. You can choose the place you like between the rocks with only a “long drop” toilet nearby. All the other infrastructure like showers and restaurant are at the entrance to the area. We found a lovely spot kilometres from there, where we could camp in peace.

Our kids will do some climbing and hiking the next days, together we will enjoy this magic place for sure – more on our next post!
