For the night we had decided to stay at the Cañon Roadhouse, as the numerous old cars parked around the place spoke to us. The style of a diner of the 1950s gives the place a nice atmosphere. It is not far from the Fish River Canyon and has a petrol station, rooms, camping and the restaurant with a little shop.

Our next destination after the Fish River Canyon is Keetmanshoop, and the huge area of dolerite and quiver trees nearby. More on our next post!
