Our first time in Kardamyli, we visited the old town with its typical Mani fortification, but a hike up into the mountain was cut short when a thunderstorm hit us. Post on the fortification.
The weather was perfect, and we headed into the mountains to Agia Sofia, a church and village, which is connected by an old path with the village at sea level.
