On the 2nd of July 2018 our new live started – we had sold our house in Spain and are living now in the camper.
We gave lots of stuff we had in our house to the charity. We had a truck coming to take everything we wanted to keep to Austria. The camper was completely filled up. We know, that we will not need so much, but if you empty a house it is hard to part from so many things.
At the moment, the plan is to travel through Europa, but you never know what will come. There are many tempting continents and countries. But in reality: what do we know from Europe? Europe has 47 countries but how many have we visited? I came to 13, but there is no country where I could say, I have seen it all, or let’s say, enough so that I could say I know the country. Even Spain, where we lived the last 8 years, has so many fascinating places we have not seen yet. Or Austria – our home country – has still lots of things to be discovered.
We love hiking and cycling and we plan to do a lot of that in the future. I would like to do as many Via Verdes in Spain and elsewhere. We love nature more than cities, so our destinations will be more the natural wonders of Europe than the conglomerates of humankind.
Goodbye Javea, hello Europe !
