Impressions @ Abenteuer & Allrad

We spent 3 days at the Abenteur & Allrad expo in Bad Kissingen, but for sure didn’t see everything. The area was huge with a big number of stalls offering everything related to travelling with a 4×4 car or caravan.

Every day we went to the stall of Dopfer Reisemobilbau, where we had a look at the new Iveco Daily which seems to have some advantages over the Mercedes Sprinter we drive at the moment.

IVECO delivers 4×4, high ground clearance, skid plate and tow hook!

Single wheel suspension on the front axle with diff lock
Heavy duty rear axle with diff lock
That’s how our cabin is constructed
Glas windows might be an option too
The Unimog would be a real 4×4 car but not under 7.5 tonnes!
Break during a hot day
Looks more like a tiny home
Some companies offered very creative solutions and fantastic details fitted into the cars they displayed.
Bremach based special luxury camper

Hammock attached to the outside to relax after you went hunting with your bow and arrow and cooked what ever you had hunted down in your outside kitchen.

Hand made copper bassin based on a wing taken from a Russian fighter jet

Offroad track
Beside an off road track where you could get an impression what terrain the different cars manage to takle, there were also slide shows presentations every day and we went to 3 of them. The first was from Seabridge about their guided caravan tour from Europe to Australia with a circle through India in 1 year! We realised that this is nothing we want to do in the near future. The second presentation was from a young German couple which had travelled around the world and shared their experiences from travelling through South America. The last one we saw was from an Austrian guy who is also travelling around the earth with an Pinzgauer 6×6. All the presentations were different and we enjoyed all of them.
