First stop in Eswatini

Our zig-zag route through Africa brought us finally to the small country called Eswatini, on the border between Mozambique and South Africa. We came from the south and drove a long time through sugar cane fields, their most important income source. Our first stop was at Mabuda Farm near Siteki in the Lebombo mountains. On the farm they grow coffee and macadamia nuts beside of other crops and cattle.

Camping @ Mabuda Farm

At the Green Shed at Mabuda farm, we could try their coffee together with some lovely cakes and snacks. Luckily the café was next to the campsite, which made it easy to pamper ourselves.

The owners of the farm have marked trails through the natural forest, to lily ponds and other beautiful places on their farm, great for hiking and exploring.
