To celebrate the end of the year 2020 we wanted to do something special, and mountains covered in snow sounded fabulous. We could even meet with friends who just finished their own expedition vehicle this year.

A perfect place to celebrate: the Tauplitz is a high plateau in the middle of the Alps, where you can go hiking, cross-country skiing and skiing. All of which starts from a parking which you reach after driving up a toll road 47.591910, 13.984863.
After our first bottle of Frizzante, the men were in charge of the barbecue in the cold, while they were supported with mulled wine and music.
When the countdown started, we jumped outside and toasted to the next year with sparkling wine and did some dancing in the snow, while our neighbours made it even more perfect with a firework.
