GUINNESS

The next day, the weather was ideal for an indoor activity – to say something positive about it. We drove to the Guinness Brewery in the hope of getting a parking there on a Sunday, and we did.

Until the 1960s, these channels were used for transport, today there are still open for pleasure boats, often transformed barges.

Our next destinations are all around Dublin, mostly stately homes of the rich English landlords – more soon.
