We had left the coast, as the sea was making a lot of noise day and night, and had driven up the hill to some big supermarkets where we did our shopping and also stayed for the night. The next morning it was a splendid day, and we decided to walk from here to Breña Alta to visit the museum about the cigar production at La Palma. The walk was 3/4 of an hour, just uphill, as nothing is flat on these islands.

The museum also showed a little photographic exhibition. Especially the photos of the 2021 eruption fascinated us. We will certainly learn more about that, when we get to the south of La Palma.

Not far from the museum was the shop of Puros Julio, where Edi could buy some local cigars. After we had made our way down to our camper again, we drove to Los Cancajos, where we found a big parking. We walked along the coast before we took our beach gear and spent the rest of the day soaking up the sun.

Our plan is to head north now, looking for a hike in the cloud forest – more soon!
