Summer 2016 we visited the Netherlands for the first time, travelling with our new caravan.
We had about 2 weeks to get to know the country, which we spent doing a circle in the south, visiting the following places:
We found different types of places to stay overnight, from simple parkings to camping grounds, mostly using them as our base from where we went with the bikes, using the perfect infrastructure the Netherlands offer. It was so easy to find our way, as there are bike tracks and signs for bike routes everywhere. The land is completely flat, and it was astounding how quick we reached our destinations.
Before, we have been in Austria at a camp for young amateur radio freaks – Yota.
So the trip started there with an incredible canon and then some time on the highway through Germany, before we reached Maastricht.
